Two out-and-out casting tools capable of distances in excess of 270-yards and one ‘match special’ all share in the pedigree of the original AWT rods. Designed primarily for the tournament field, the 14’2” 142M and 13’4” 134M have attracted the attention of the serious caster. Both models feature powerful butt designs with a top section that, when fully compressed, load throughout their lengths. The combined effect is an action that has a fast but even recovery; in contrast to the fast tip speed of more conventional actions. At 13’, with a contrasting action, the 130M offers a stiff powerful butt with a rapid, compound taper tip, similar to the famous AWT13M. A fishing rod first this model still has the potential to hit big distances across grass.
